Yggdrasil blend of tree extracts and essential oils for a fresh and subtle natural scent of the boreal forest, making getting washed and clean simply awesome. Víkingalaug (Viking Soap) is also Viking size, nearly half a pound and 1 9/16” (4cm) thick!
The animal fats, while traditionally being part of ancient soaps, minimizes lather. The ashes, another key ingredient of Viking soaps, exfoliate your skin. The natural seed oils and sheep milk moisturize your skin, while the sheep wool oil protects your skin against the elements. The honey provides disinfecting qualities. The plant extracts and essential oils gives the soap antiseptic, anti-bacterial, cleansing, anti-fungal, stimulating, detoxifying, as well as relaxing properties.
Víkingalaug (Viking Soap) is consistent with soaps used during the Viking age: It is cut rough, it is more basic, softer, and it is far less refined than modern soaps. Shape, size, and color will vary.
